Description

Postnatal Pilates Basics is a program designed by Andrea for women who've had a baby, to help them return to exercise with confidence. The program helps to support new mothers to rebuild their strength and fitness after pregnancy and birth. The workouts are modified and short, ranging from 20 - 30 minutes, to fit into the busy life of a new mother. Before you start with our postnatal program at home, please note that not everyone's timeline looks the same when it comes to postnatal recovery. As much as you might feel ready to start running or lifting again, you may not be cleared for take off until 6-8 weeks postpartum. So before you start, make sure you have clearance from your medical professional to begin with light exercises. In addition, it is highly recommended to watch our short video about Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) before you start with our postnatal program. It's suitable for postpartum women, including women with Diastasis Recti.
